Lateral movements of the bike and body for improving balance:

the cyclist leans the bike sideways and goes with his body in the opposite direction

direction to provide counterweight. This technique is often used on

loose surfaces such as sand and mud or to maintain balance in tight turns.
Can also be used to get through a narrow passage with the steering wheel (Tree Dodge).
